We are excited to now offer home office visits! The office is a great option if you aren't comfortable with your LC coming into your home or you just need to get out of the house for once! The home office is a cozy, relaxing space available to discuss your concerns.

In-home consults are a great way to bring my office to you! There are so many doctor's appointments & potential trips to the lab following your discharge from the hospital. Allow me to make your life easier. In-home consults are a more convenient way I can assist you with any breastfeeding concerns. I will come to you!

 Virtual consults are a great way for us to meet & discuss minor concerns while you stay in the comfort of your own home. These consults are good for following up with any new questions or concerns & to review key points for a successful breastfeeding relationship. *Virtual consults may no longer be covered by your plan & may incur fees.

Prenatal consults are a great way to learn more about how our bodies change during pregnancy then after the baby is born. This is the best way to properly prepare us for what is to come & set mama up for success once baby gets here! 

We review vital information to keep mama informed of not only what to expect, but also how best to prepare with our suggested items to have on hand before baby's arrival.

Did you know that a parent can induce lactation without having been pregnant before? If you're preparing your family for a little one's arrival through adoption & have interest in breastfeeding your child, give me a call to schedule a consult. 

Inducing lactation is most successful with at least 6 months or more of preparation.

Lactation consultations are vital for working on latch & positioning especially when mama is in pain. We perform a weighted feeding so you can see exactly how much baby is getting from the breast.

Follow-up visits can be necessary to ensure that baby is gaining weight adequately & mama is also healing well. They are also beneficial to give a family peace of mind that the baby is feeding & gaining well until their next pediatrician visit.

Not all baby's are able to take a bottle well. Some have breastfed so well that they refuse to take the bottle whereas others are only bottle fed but still having difficulty. It's best to schedule a bottle feeding consult if baby is spitting up a lot, leaking milk from their mouth while feeding, gassy/fussy or not gaining well despite bottle feeding. 

Pumping doesn't have to suck! Pumping consults will help you know how to pump successfully. We measure you for the correct flange size you need and go over pump settings in detail. Everyone responds to breast pumps a little differently. You will leave knowing exactly how to use your pump to ensure effective milk removal and no supply concerns!

Going back to work can be daunting. We put so much pressure to perform on ourselves. Most of us are already worried about building a stash of milk for work when the baby is only 2 days old! We can help you determine the best way to build a stash and discuss pumping schedules for work. You'll leave feeling prepared and ready for getting back to work!

Flange fittings are a vital part to pumping successfully. The right flange size can effect your comfort level as well as your milk removal efficiency. Most mother's are currently using the wrong size!

Your flange fitting consult will include nipple measurement prior to stimulation along with a thorough assessment of nipple shaping & possible damage, swelling or infection. Recommendations will be made based upon the breast pump you will be using.
