About me

 After more than a decade working in pediatrics, lactation became a calling born from personal experience. Breastfeeding my son came with supply struggles, latch issues, pain, and an undiagnosed tongue tie. Layered on top of all of that was postpartum anxiety, depression, and perinatal OCD. That journey shaped everything about the way care is provided here.

 Becoming an IBCLC in 2021 was the natural next step in a journey that was always about more than just breastfeeding. The care provided here takes a whole-person approach because feeding goals and emotional wellbeing are deeply connected. Perinatal mental health is not an afterthought; it is woven into every single visit. 

Outside of work, you'll find me on a cruise ship somewhere warm, watching my son wakesurf at the lake, or cheering on the Dawgs between the hedges. My husband and I have two teenage boys and two fur babies, Daisy and Gunner. We are members of Grace Baptist Church of Evans, and our faith is at the center of everything we do. It is because of that faith that I believe the Lord blessed me with the gift to walk alongside mothers in one of the most important seasons of life. 

 However you choose to feed your baby, there is no judgment and no pressure here. The goal is simply to provide the resources, education, and support you need to reach your goals.
