Candace Green MA, IBCLC, PMH-C
I have worked in pediatrics since 2012 but have always been passionate about lactation due to my own struggles while breastfeeding my son. I made it my mission to help others and have been an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2021.
I had issues with supply, latching, pain, & an undiagnosed tongue tie but also struggled with postpartum anxiety, depression & perinatal OCD. I specialize in perinatal mental health & feel that it's a vital area to take into consideration with lactation. I am a local La Leche League leader & feel that peer support plays a role in both success & confidence.
My husband & I have two teen boys that keep us busy & on our toes! We also have two fur babies, Daisy & Gunner. My family & I are members of Grace Baptist Church. I feel the Lord blessed me with the gift to help other mother's in one of the most important times of our lives so I am quite passionate about my work! I strive to always glorify God in everything I do.
I love to travel, especially by cruise ship! I enjoy going to the lake with my family & watching my son wakesurf. I am a HUGE UGA fan & love going to football games between the hedges. Go Dawgs!
